Q2 – It’s THE Controller
Lextar’s dual joystick Tracam Controller called Q2 was released in March 2004 for global testing and refinement. This controller provides for greater comfort, flexibility and efficiency at setup and when running the system in manual mode.
The Tracam Q2 controller is a unique, highly versatile, ergonomically designed CCTV Keyboard Controller.
The unique dual joystick configuration provides Track or Rail Camera users with the benefit of a highly sensitive and specific interface to drive a mobile camera along the track. The proportional deflection of the joystick enables variable speed control of the drive.
The joystick eliminates the compromise made when using existing CCTV Keyboards with Track or rail systems.
Q2’s multi-protocol capabilities allows the Keyboard to be installed in existing systems without sacrificing the integral qualities of the system, making the Q2 uniquely versatile. Q2 is fitted with 3 multi-standard serial ports allowing the Q2 to drive more than one protocol at any one time.
With industry and the habits of operators in mind, Q2 is built based on a machined aluminium chassis for a great feel and durability. Inductive (zero contact) joysticks ensure lasting operation while the Lexan-sealed membrane switches ensure coffee spills, dust and dirt do not affect the reliability of the keyboard.
